In the race to become Africa’s leading tech hub and digital economy, Morocco is building a connected public ecosystem that unites ministries, public institutions, and citizens. These efforts are creating vast opportunities for global tech providers looking to collaborate with North Africa’s most ambitious digital governance model.

Organised by Tradepass, the inaugural edition of GOVX.0 Morocco will take place in Rabat on 11 – 12 November 2025, bringing together 300+ top-level decision-makers from national government bodies, regional councils, and municipal authorities. The event will spotlight next-gen digital governance tools, public sector innovation, and cutting-edge digitisation strategies, all the while facilitating strategic alliances with leading global solution providers.

WHY MOROCCO

Aligned with Digital Morocco 2030, the Kingdom has placed digital governance at the heart of its national agenda. To give the necessary foundation, the nation has been aggressively working towards increasing its datacentre capacity, cementing its position as a continental AI powerhouse and nurturing a future-ready digital workforce. Furthermore, strategic initiatives like the Plan National du Haut Débit 2 are driving internet access to underserved regions and deploying hybrid cloud models are combining sovereign and public cloud services.

In addition, Morocco plans on establishing Relays Numériques or Digital Relay Centers nationwide to empower citizens with limited digital literacy. In a bold move toward long-term transformation, the country also aims to embed digital skills into its primary education curriculum, ensuring future generations are equipped for the digital era from an early age.
